It is 750 dollars and we’re going to use it as a track/drift car. We’re also driving out to San Luis Obisco to pick it up! And we’re likely going to remove the stock engine and swap in something.

I think it actually will...as it's around the same price as a LS1 swap

Plus it’s lighter than a LS. Besides everyone does LS swaps

This is gonna sound like a dumb question, but why buy a somewhat unreliable car for track? I mean, I know you’re giving it a new engine, but if you’re driving it on the track, I don’t think you want it to have the chance of breaking down. Again, that sounds really stupid, and I’m not against you picking up an E30, but I was just wondering why an old BMW instead of an old Corolla or something.

Swap in a 6.7L powerstroke!
That's gonna leave a mark!

Saw the ad and read it to mean “ My mom is going to kill me if I don’t get this thing out of here”.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

Because the chassis is excellent for track use, way better than any corolla.

Makes a lot of sense. Thank you. That could be why I’ve never seen a 92 Corolla in a track picture haha.

Also it’s rear wheel drive, whereas the corolla is front wheel drive. It’s extremely difficult to drift a front wheel drive car.

Stick a 3800 Series II Supercharged in its butt. Mid-engined RWD E30 drift missile. Optional: replace automatic with Pontiac G6 6-speed manual.

I think Ford has a controls pack out that lets you swap these into other cars. It’s probably like $1800 though.
